Hi, I’m Nettie
I’m Nettie, owner of Architectural Media Services. Originally from the Netherlands, I moved to Toms River, New Jersey, when I was 14. My fascination for photography began in childhood, when I found that I could capture the images from my imagination through a camera—something I couldn’t quite do with drawing.
My appreciation for architecture, particularly historic homes, evokes memories of the charming houses from my childhood in Holland and Switzerland. This love led me to shift from portrait photography to capturing the distinctive character of homes. It’s the ideal fusion of my two passions: photography and architecture.
With over 20 years of experience, I’ve had the privilege of photographing everything from grand estates to charming cottages—and everything in between. I strive to highlight the unique features of each property and deliver images that truly capture the beauty and character of every space.
I moved to Rumson, New Jersey, four years ago and absolutely love the charm and beauty of living on the Peninsula.
We proudly serve all of New Jersey and have also had the opportunity to work in New York and Florida

Hi, I’m Eric
From an early age, I always had a camera in my hand, fascinated by the ability to freeze a moment in time. Growing up in Toms River, New Jersey, I was fortunate to be surrounded by the natural beauty of the Jersey Shore. Whether walking the trails of Cattus Island or capturing the stunning landscapes of Island Beach State Park, I was always out exploring with my camera, refining my craft.
In my early teens, I developed a passion for portrait photography, drawn to the way lighting alone could transform an image without the need for extensive editing. I quickly became known as "the camera guy" in school, a title I embraced wholeheartedly because I knew photography was more than just a hobby—it was my calling.
When I entered college, I focused my studies on photography, art, and marketing. One of my design professors recognized my talent and encouraged me to pursue professional courses dedicated entirely to photography. Taking that advice, I immersed myself in advanced techniques, sharpening my skills in composition, lighting, and visual storytelling.
My love for capturing people’s emotions and stories led me into wedding and event photography, where I had the privilege of documenting some of life's most meaningful moments. As my client base grew, new opportunities emerged, and I found myself working alongside one of the area's top-producing real estate professionals. This experience introduced me to the world of architectural photography and videography, where I discovered a passion for showcasing spaces with the same level of artistry and precision.
Now, through Architectural Media Services, I specialize in helping realtors, builders, designers, and homeowners present their properties in the best possible light. I believe every space has a unique story to tell, and I take pride in highlighting the details that might otherwise go unnoticed.
